Accommodation
Team accommodation will be at the Royal Holloway, University of London campus in Egham, a distance of 26km from the course, about 30 minutes travel.
There will be a village-style atmosphere – with dining and social areas right on the campus there will be plenty of opportunities to meet the other athletes and enjoy the surroundings.
There are 1022 single rooms all with ensuite bath / shower rooms.
Transport
A top class shuttle bus service will operate between the official accomodation and the regatta course. Only team shuttle buses will have direct road access to the accredited areas at the Championships.
The bus shuttle between accommodation and the course will operate from 31 July 2011. Timings for the shuttle service will be provided in advance of your arrival and also posted at the information desk at the venue.
The accommodation cost is €85 per person per day and includes:
- Full board accommodation, with breakfast, lunch and evening meal.
- Transportation between campus and the course by Championship bus shuttle from 31 July 2011
- Transfers between London Heathrow Airport (LHR) and the accommodation for whole team arrivals and departures
