How to get there
By Air
London Heathrow is the nearest airport. It is a distance of 23km (14 miles) from the course and is approximately 20 minutes travelling time by road. London Gatwick and London Luton airports are also accessible to Dorney Lake. Gatwick is a distance of 68km (42 miles) and Luton is 66km (41 miles). Both airports are approximately 90 minutes from the course by road.
Airport transfers to and from London Heathrow Airport will be provided for whole team arrivals and departures where accommodation is booked through the Organising Committee.
By Road
Dorney Lake is 5km (3 miles) from Junction 7 of the M4 motorway. The M4 connects central London to Bristol in the West of England and passes Heathrow airport.
By Rail
Eurostar, a high-speed passenger-only train service operates from Paris, Brussels and Lille to London St Pancras train station. The journey from Paris to London St Pancras takes 2 hr 20 mins. There are connecting trains to Slough and Taplow Stations from London Paddington and to Windsor & Eton Riverside Station from London Waterloo.

By Sea
Ferry
The recommended ferry route for boat trailers is Calais to Dover, which takes 90 minutes. Dover has good access to the M20/M26 motorways, which connect directly to the M25/M4 (journey time of 21⁄4 – 23⁄4 hours, Dover to Dorney Lake).

By Tunnel
Eurotunnel
The Channel Tunnel is also recommended for boat trailers. Vehicles and trailers are loaded onto trains, which take 35 minutes from Calais to Folkestone. Folkestone also has good access to the M20/M26 motorways, which connect directly to the M25/M4 (journey time of 2 – 21⁄2 hours, Folkestone to Dorney Lake).
