What if I am no longer available to volunteer?
Contact your team leader or email volunteers@wrjc2011.com as soon as possible

How do I get to Dorney Lake? 
You will use the same entrance as Spectators . You will find many AA signs to direct you along the final route into the site

What time am I needed on each day/ which days am I needed?
Your team leader will inform you which days and times you will be needed for

What if I am delayed/ am ill on the day?
Contact your team leader as soon as possible

Will refreshments be provided?
You will receive a packed lunch and, if required for early shifts (starting before 7am), a breakfast voucher for use at the catering tent.  Tea/ coffee/ cold drinks/ snacks will be provided during the day

What if I have special dietary needs?
Please email info@wrjc2011.com if you have special dietary needs with details of restrictions

What if none of the accommodation options available through the tourist office suit my needs?
Contact your team leader or email volunteers@wrjc2011.com

How many athletes will be competing?
Entries do not close until the week before the championships begin, but we shall keep you up-to-date via email on the size of entry as time progresses.  We expect it to be in the region of 600 athletes from around 50 nations

What happens if the weather is bad?
Information will be posted on the website regarding any planned changes in racing times for the next day – whilst on site, you will be kept informed by your team leader.

Will I be able to lock my bicycle on the site?
Yes - bike racks will be available

Is there camping available nearby?
Please contact Windsor and Maidenhead Tourist Office for details of local camp sites. Please note no camping is available at the course itself

Is there a shuttle bus from the nearest train stations to the Lake?
No, you will need to walk, cycle or take a taxi
